Honest comparison

How we differ from Carrier411,
DAT, RMIS & Highway.

We're not a full TMS, a load board, or a fraud-prevention platform. We sell the one slice those tools either bury inside a seat license or don't surface at all: the fresh new-authority lead signal + carrier email + a clean safety screen, agent-callable, at a fraction of the cost.

The one thing only we have: the factor-SWITCH signal

RigDig (Randall-Reilly) sells a static, annual UCC bucket — "here is who your customers' factor was, as of the last data pull." It's a snapshot. It cannot tell you what changed or when. The day a carrier files a UCC-3 termination against its factor's lien, it is factor-free and shopping — and that carrier looks identical in RigDig's annual file until the next refresh. We surface that termination as a real-time switch lead, plus virgin authorities (no factor lien yet) and a chameleon reincarnation flag. See the switch signal →

UCC factor dataRigDig (Randall-Reilly)Freight Intel (us)
Who is the carrier's factor of recordYes — static annual bucketYes — classified factor vs equipment vs MCA, in covered states
Factor-SWITCH signal (UCC-3 termination)No — can't show what changed or whenYes — real-time "just left its factor" lead
Virgin (fresh authority, no factor yet)NoYes — first factor to call wins
Chameleon / reincarnation flagNoYes — nationwide, shared phone/address ⨯ deactivated carrier
Accruing "what changed and when" timelineNo — annual snapshots onlyYes — forward snapshot compounds weekly
UCC state coverageBroad (purchased aggregator data)Partial & marked honestly — expanding; we never label a carrier "virgin" in a state we didn't check
Agent-callable (MCP) + self-serveNo — enterprise salesYes — MCP + JSON, key in 1 business day, from $99/mo

Where RigDig wins: it has broad, multi-state purchased UCC coverage today and a long-standing data operation. We're honest that our UCC layer is partial and expanding — but the real-time switch signal, the chameleon flag, and the accruing timeline are things RigDig structurally does not sell at any coverage level.

Where they win, we say so. If you need double-brokering defense and carrier reviews, buy Carrier411 or Highway. If you need a load board, that's DAT. If you need full carrier onboarding/insurance workflow, that's RMIS. If you need a fresh, filterable new-authority lead feed + carrier email + a clean safety screen, agent-callable, without a per-onboard or enterprise contract — that's us.

Accuracy & freshness — stated plainly

Source

100% public FMCSA / USDOT Socrata datasets: the carrier census file (identity, fleet, authority date, email) and the roadside vehicle-inspection file (safety). Every carrier links back to FMCSA SAFER.

Freshness

The carrier census updates on a USDOT cadence; add_date (authority grant date) is current to within days. We re-seed and show the verified date on every page.

Email coverage

~55% of carriers have an email on file in the FMCSA census. We never fabricate one — if it's blank, we say so. Domain shown free; full address on the paid feed.

Safety basis

Our tier is the carrier's roadside out-of-service rate vs the ~21% national vehicle average — a transparent, reproducible signal. It is not a CSA BASIC percentile and not a guarantee. New carriers with no inspections show "Unrated", never a fake score.

We will not overstate. Carrier identity, authority date, and safety aggregates are real and source-linked. New authority is the freshest signal we have. Everything probabilistic is shown with its basis — never as certainty.
